BYD's May sales data for the five major European markets has been released, with all except the UK hitting record highs. Germany sold 6,169 units, skyrocketing 326.4% year-on-year; Italy sold 6,019 units, up 209.46%; France sold 2,585 units, up 175.59%; and Spain sold 4,519 units, up 85.7%. Although the UK did not break its record, its sales of 5,153 units still grew by 113.1% year-on-year. This growth rate is already explosive in the European automotive market, and it has not yet reached its ceiling. Next week (June 8-14), the Dolphin G DM-i, an A0-class hatchback specially built by BYD for overseas markets, will make its European debut, with deliveries starting in the third quarter. Also this month, the Denza Z9GT and D9 Flash Charging Edition are expected to begin small-batch exports to Europe.
